Hello, I'm Laura Golden. I have had the love for horses for as long as I can remember. I started my equine education in 1966 at the age of eight years old when my parents graciously let me start taking riding lessons. Since then I have trained and shown with many different Hunt Seat instructors including Australian trainer Nora Cook of Cedar Crest Farm, Charlotte, N.C.; and former German Olympian Lila Bosic from Southern Pines, NC.. The most influential horsemen in my life was Mr. J. Baxter Hobbs of Charlotte, NC. I boarded, rode and trained with him for many years. He taught me the loving & gentle ways to handle young horses, and how important it is to treat them kindly.
I now specializes in the gentle starting of all young equine, and the training of safe riding mounts for children. Presently Golden's Pony Farm is home to Miniature horses, Welsh ponies, an Appaloosa gelding, an American Appendix Horse and a Thoroughbred mare.
Golden's Pony Farm is located in the North Georgia Mountains, in Mineral Bluff.

Golden's Pony Express is owned and operated by myself, Marcus Golden. I've been fishing since I was a very young boy on my grandfather's farm in Mississippi. Now all of my fishing is done in saltwater, and I also enjoy diving & spear fishing. I frequent areas such as Panama City Fl, Gulf Shores Al, Florida Keys, Jacksonville Fl, Grand Isle La and Apalachicola Fl.
